Caribe Hotel is surrounded by extensive tropical gardens, and has 5 star facilities and a lavish lobby with polished marble floors and impressive chandeliers.

I was very Happy with the breakfast and the pool service. I think the staffs is Super, they were always very friendly and ready to help and make one feel welcome. They are the best ambassadors of the Hotel.

Perfect place for a relaxing break

The staff are a credit to the hotel, courteous and friendly. Very professional. The gardens are very impressive with live animals and well maintained

Over reliance on single use plastic items such as salt, pepper, sauces, straws, drink stirs etc. A hotel of this calibre shouldn’t be using these. Food fairly average, expected better.

Worth the price and close to simple shopping

Excellent location, spacious, comfortable, lots of beds at the pool and a safe space by the beach. It was clean and all indoor places had blasting AC to beat the 107F weather. To get to my room, there was no indoor passage, so the 3min walk was heavy on the heat hahaha. Food was good, buffet breakfast and lunch, and a l carte dinner. Optional all inclusive or pay per meal. Lunch and Dinner were typically around $35 per person. I consider it a little pricey considering so many restaurants nearby, but the food was good and the comfort worth it. Room was good, bed was fairly comfortable, and the shower pressure was good. Hotel provides shampoo, conditioner, soap, bath gel, hair dryer, and safe in the closet. The spa is small but with different massage services, Turkish bath and hot tub. The room is equipped with a mini bar with drinks and snacks, at “hotel price”, good to get when in a rush, but I suggest walking out to the pharmacy less than 2 blocks away that is open 24 hours. You’ll get the same at more than half the price. The bellboys at the entrance are so helpful and very kind, either helping you or guiding you around the hotel. They also assist in getting you a taxi to get around. The hotel is well located by Bocagrande beach (hotel has a private area with lounge chairs and restaurant), and close by to the city with restaurants, souvenir shops, pharmacies and stores. There is also a small shopping mall within walking distance.

There wasn’t an indoor passage to the building with rooms. Front desk could be more attentive and informative.

Wonderful

Great facilities, the pool area is really nice, amazing breakfast, comfortable beds, and the green area and the anilas are a great plus

We had some issues with the shower, it's not great but it was solved

Great breakfast, clean rooms and very helpful staff.

Breakfast was wonderful. Staff was very helpful. The room was nice and not small. There was a nice whole body mirror and enough closet space to hang my clothes. The bathtub was nice and big.

Wifi connection to internet was weak. There was a leak of water in the bathroom, falling from the ceiling. I couldn´t get a late check out.

Pleasant stay in the Caribean

The hotel is very nice, the beach is located across the street, and it had a nice swimming pool. Also it has a very good massage space, and a hair salon !! It is located far from the old walled city center but there is a taxi stand at the hotel so it is easy to go there .Plus taxis are cheap and abundant there .

I didnt like so much my room cause it was located in the old part of the hotel and I visited the rooms int the new building and they were much nicer.

Staff is very nice, the hotel is very green and the pool area and rooms are kept very clean.

Pool was too warm to cool down in and we had to move rooms because the room was too noisy. The hotel is a little run down

Conference at the hotel

The hotel is beautiful, breakfast was superb, evening time by the pool or at the bar was superb

The room services were very slow and I ask for a wake-up call which did not take place. The conference rooms were not grand, a bit old should be refurbished and modernised

Book it! Amazing experience

Hotel was amazing, since we walked in the service and the staff very extremely nice and helpful. Inside the hotel is beautiful, very green, lots of animals (sloths, parrots..), pool is huge and has a smaller kids pool, 2 jacuzzis, lots of space. There are 2 restaurants that were pretty good. Spa and massages were good too. Amazing breakfast.

The rooms are outdated, they are currently working on remodeling and renewing the common areas in the hotel and hopefully will work on the rooms too. We booked 1 bedroom apartment and it looked more like a holleway with bedroom and not living room but it didn’t bother us much since we spent most of our time outside.

It's one of my favorite places to stay in Cartagena. The staff is very professional and courteous . The hotel is well kept, safe and spacious. They have (rescued)wildlife living freely on the hotel grounds and gardens.

Lots of good, some areas for improvement needed.

The grounds and garden are unlike any hotel we've stayed in. Beautiful pool area, dining options, very comfortable, surrounded by nature, animals etc. just wonderful. The staff are very keen to please, they are always looking for feedback and are very helpful.

The standard of the rooms is disappointing. We were led to our room which was a separate building from the main building, it was outdated, the room did not match the rate we paid, we asked to move room and paid a small upgrade (later recinded). Some facilities are a little tired, the games room for example. Breakfast staff were not very friendly, asking for an omlette was met with a mild grunt.
